Introducing the Intent Network: Revamp dApps with Intent-Based Solutions

But the solver landscape is fragmented today, making it difficult to process intents efficiently, at scale. bloXroute’s Intent Network aims to address these challenges.

The Intent Network, an extension of the bloXroute Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN), enhances communication between dApps and solvers — entities dedicated to processing user intents. This network ensures that intents, which are declarative commands from users, are rapidly and efficiently resolved. By connecting dApps with a broad network of solvers, the Intent Network facilitates a smoother, faster, and more secure dApp experience.

We are excited to highlight our existing integrations with leading projects in the intent-based space:

• Aori: A maker-oriented high-frequency off-chain order book offering non-custodial, on-chain settlement for spot trading.
• Mantis: Multichain Agnostic Normalized Trust-minimized Intent Settlement (MANTIS) is an ecosystem-agnostic intent settlement framework architected as a Solana L2. MANTIS facilitates the settlement of cross-chain user intents, optimizing the supply chain to deliver a user-centric, ecosystem-agnostic future for DeFi.

Implementation

To integrate with the Intent Network, users can choose between installing a Local Gateway or using a bloXroute hosted gateway. This flexibility allows users to select the option that best suits their infrastructure needs. Additionally, the Intent Network supports Cloud-API integration for faster and easier connectivity.

The network accommodates two primary user roles: dApp and Trader/Solver. Both roles can access the Intents Stream and submit intents and solutions, but only dApps can subscribe to the Solutions Stream, receiving and processing responses from the network. Highlighting our first integrated project with the Intent Network, our launch partner Aori offers the intent flow today.

dApp Integration

• Subscribe to Aori order book updates: dApp captures and converts updates from Aori into standard intent formats.
• Process intent solutions: Once intent solutions are received via the Intent Gateway, the dApp converts them into taker orders and sends them to the Aori network.

Trader & Searcher Integration

• Subscribe and read orders: Traders receive make orders from the Intent Gateway and analyze them.
• Submit intent solutions: After processing, Traders create take orders for each intent and submit these back through the gateway as solutions.
